Meet Dr. Benjamin De Graff
Dr. Benjamin De Graff grew up with dentistry in his orbit early — an exposure that turned into a calling rather than just a career path.
He went on to earn his DMD from OHSU School of Dentistry in 2010 and spent years building a reputation as a dentist patients actually looked forward to seeing. Before bringing his practice to Bend, he was voted a Top Dentist in the Burlingame area for ten consecutive years — recognition built not on volume but on the kind of care that makes patients send their family members in next.
What sets Dr. Benjamin apart isn’t the credentials, though those are solid. It’s the way he approaches an appointment. He takes the extra time — genuinely, not performatively — to ask about a patient’s life, their health history, and what matters to them. That information shapes the treatment plan. Two patients with the same clinical picture can have very different needs depending on their circumstances, and Dr. Benjamin doesn’t skip that part of the conversation.
On the clinical side, he logs 60 to 80 hours of continuing education every year and holds advanced certifications in Soft Tissue Lasers, SureSmile Clear Aligners, and Oral Conscious Sedation. From 2014 to 2019 he taught at the Pacific School of Dental Hygiene Program — a commitment to the broader dental community that says something about how he thinks about this work.
Away from the office, Dr. Benjamin is exactly what you’d expect from someone who describes himself as a tech geek who builds with Legos and plays video games — unapologetic about his hobbies and enthusiastic about all of them. He spends his time outside the practice with his wife Brianne and their two kids, Wesley and Edith, and you’re as likely to find the family on a soccer field, a golf course, or a snowboarding run as you are at home. He’s a runner, a car tinkerer, and an explorer of everything Oregon has to offer.
He chose Bend on purpose. The community, the pace, the people — it all fits, and the practice reflects that in ways patients notice pretty quickly.
